The Penwoman Book Club

Every other month, we gather around a book and see where the conversation takes us. We read women, mostly; their lives, their work, their worlds, imagined and otherwise, in all their colour and complexity. Occasionally, we make room for men who have written something worth saying about women, too: a biography, a history, an unexpected perspective.

Our gatherings take place online, bringing readers together across cities, countries and time zones. Subscribe to our newsletter to discover our next read, the date of our gathering, and the link to join us.

Currently reading: A Little Devil in America by Hanif Abdurraqib
